Getting started

Thing 1

It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would to start 23 things on a stick. I did spend a lot of time trying to come up with a name and avatar. It was hard finding a "normal" avatar. Maybe I will redo it with something more wishful if I can keep up. It helped that I had someone over my shoulder telling me to click here, and here, and on and on (ha ha). It hurt that people still wanted help while I was trying to do this (annoying patrons just kept a coming).

Welcome to 23 Things on a Stick! I have to say, you've taken the prize for funniest initial post.

If you want to find other SELS member blogs you can see them here. We have a couple of participants really interested in doing this as a community, so I'm encouraging you to post-- especially with that sense of humor!

Congrats on getting started with 23 Things on a Stick! The SELCO staff, including me, will be working through the program as well. We hope to have fun along the way and will offer the opportunity for regional prizes to all who complete the program by National Library Week. Enjoy!

I too have only just started the 23 Things on a Stick! I found it difficult to come up with a name - the Avatar was fun, but I wasn't looking for anything super normal. It is difficult to take the time in my day to work on the things for very long, blogging with 25 students in the Media Center isn't easy! So much to do. I am on Thing 3... and so we go!
